What is PAC? AFGE-PAC is a voluntary, member-funded resource to help push our political and legislative priorities. AFGE cannot use dues money to support political candidates. We use AFGE-PAC to support members of Congress and candidates who support our issues. We couldn’t care less what political party someone belongs to. What we care about is if they support us and our members when it matters most. We support candidates who help us stop furloughs, who vote to raise your pay and retirement and who keep our workplaces safe. If they support federal employees, then AFGE will support them! Today we are being attacked at every turn by corporations and their lobbyists who want nothing more than to cut our wages and downsize our agencies, all to save
a few more tax dollars for billionaires. Enough is enough.AFGE isready to stand up and fight back. To do this, we are asking each
member to give to the PAC at a level of $5-10 per month.
Since AFGE is unable to use dues money to lobby Congress, this committee allows AFGE to lobby Congress on issues that affect workers like yourself. With your help, we can get the assistance that we need to get lawmakers on our side and vote on issues in favor of the Union.
